Current Position

I work as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation at the ETH Zurich.

I am employed as part of the SCCER-FURIES (http://sccer-furies.epfl.ch/) project for developing new techniques/algorithms to modernise the current electric grid system in a future where more renewable energy sources will be part of the grid. I work as part of the Work Package 2 for smart grids planning and the identification of new locations to build pumped-hydro storage facilities.
I am also working on the project entitled Assessing Future Electricity Markets (AFEM). Here I work on wind resource assessment with statistical algorithms, and transmission line siting.
